Thanks for unlocking it so quickly. (I thought you were trying to shut me up!
That was my mistake on the display photo. I had taken one of the Pitts Special S-ID at the show but it did not show the number clearly. Looking through them now I guessed it was the S-ID as there are very minor differences from the G-ZIII. To be on the safe side I didn't post it, however. Then to make sure when labelling the final pic. I Googled the S-ID and then misunderstood the comments there. Hence Mustang!
Thanks for the Chipmunk. That wasn't mentioned in the booklet, probably a late entry.

Wow..., what a series of aircraft! Just to my liking!!!
I feel the need....., the need for...., going to an airshow again. But in Norway, the season is over, so I guess in 2013 then.
Meanwhile, we got these great pictures. Thanks, Ivy!

When I was posting them I thought "Hope Svein will enjoy them", and I'm glad you did. The small, privately owned airfield is only about 6 miles from my home - 10 minutes' drive. See http://www.seething-airfield.com/

            Nice airport that Seething Airfield.
All GA-pilots should experience and have their aircraft at such fields...., not at huge official close to 'commercial aviation only' operation.

This aircraft is most likely plenty strong, but it looks so .... ehhh... how should I say it? .... weak?

The latest pictures from FlightAware this week:

The most long enduring aircraft of this size and type, the DC3

I have had many flights in the DC3 over the years. My first flight was in 1959 and my last some 10 years ago. Some good and some fairly hairy flights.

                    Wow, but this is impressive:

A Russian heavy lift Mi26 helicopter giving one of 330 Squadron's Sea Kings a lift home, after her unplanned few days out on the mountain. Hopefully it won't be long before Banak ends up with a serviceable aircraft again.

SCOOT is an offshoot of Singapore Airlines and will take delivery of the B-787s originally ordered by SIA. It is a long range Budget carrier operating on routes from Singapore to North Asia, Australia and eventually to Europe etc.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scoot
