    Rapport om alvorlig luftfartshendelse på Oslo lufthavn Gardermoen 25. februar 2010 med Airbus A320-214 VP-BWM, operert av Aeroflot Russian Airlines

    Report on serious aviation incident at Oslo Airport on February 25th 2010 when an Airbus A320-214 VP-BWM, operated by Aeroflot Russian Airlines.

    The aircraft taxied incorrectly and took off from a parallel taxi way next to the runway.

    The aircrew did not notice they had taken off from a taxiway before being notified by ATC after take off. The investigation has revealed several factors which contributed to the happening, both done by the aircrew, the airline, air traffic control and the airport.

    Retningskontrollen gikk tapt under avgang. Flyet kom såvidt i lufta før understellet traff en betongkant og vingen traff hjørnet av en bygning. Det oppstod ingen personskader i havariet.

      I have downloaded the English version of the report, have only managed to read some of it so far. I can only imagine what the air traffic controller was thinking when he realised what the plane was in the process of doing. Probably some of the longest seconds in that controllers life!
